How can I find a good home for my dog?

I can't keep my 18 month old Jack Russell terrier. I simply can't afford him. It breaks my heart, but I want him to have a good home. I posted him on craigslist and petfinder, but nobody wants him. I don't want him to go to a pound. He is so loveable I just know someone will love him as much as I do. What else can I do?
