Are all growths on adrenal glands considered tumors?

I've has a m on my left adrenal gland for at least two years. At this point its 1.7 cm in size. I'm just wondering if any type of m or growth on an adrenal gland could be considered a tumor. And if that's the case, is it best that it be removed?
